For the best results, exfoliate your skin 24 hours before your appointment and avoid applying lotion, oils, deodorant, makeup, or perfume the day of your tan. Any waxing, shaving, facials, or body treatments should be completed at least 24 hours beforehand. Wear loose, dark clothing and flip-flops or sandals to your appointment. After your tan, avoid sweating, swimming, showering, tight clothing, and anything that may rub against the skin until your first rinse (typically 8–12 hours, unless instructed otherwise). During your appointment, you’ll receive a customized full-body spray tan that takes about 20-30 minutes. Disposable thongs are available, or you may wear whatever you’re comfortable tanning in. After your first rinse, your tan will continue to develop and should last 7–10 days with proper care. Moisturize daily and avoid excessive exfoliation to extend the life of your tan.
